Description

Many speculate that the Parker V.S. was meant to represent the “Victory Series.” Regardless, the Parker V.S. fountain pen was designed as an affordable option for returning servicemen and women to write their families, friends and spouses to let them know they were coming home. These writing instruments were also great for the return to office work. Our blue set is in its original box and sports a 1947 date code. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. We like that Parker designed these to look more like a 51 with the button-filling system of its older Duofolds. We also like that its inkfeed is a clear plastic! You will write a smooth, dry, fine line with its 14k gold nib. No cracks, dents or deep scratches. Just some wear and some odd little white dots. The pencil works well. Twist the tail cap to advance or retract its .9mm lead. Find spare leads and a hardened eraser under the tail cap. Its box is looking a little worse for wear, but it has a neat imprint on the bottom stating “Made in U.S.A. / Box No. 255”.
