Vintage Pens: Parker Vacumatic

Parker Vacumatic pens are among our all-time favorites. They are the height of great art deco design, and we love the ingenuity behind the filling system. We restored this Parker Vacumatic with a new diaphragm. Born in the first quarter of 1944, we wonder if this vintage pen saw any action in World War II. The blue diamond in the pocket clip means it had a lifetime warranty for its original owner. You will see some wear from use but no deep scratches nor cracks. The section does have some marks of pliers from a previous repair person’s work. You will write a relatively smooth medium line with its 14k gold nib. It has feedback in the sense you will feel the paper under the pen, and it might catch a little at some angles. Sometimes it is dry when you uncap it, but it writes uninterrupted once you prime it. 12.8cm capped.
