You can see why from its grey striated design with nickel trim to its simple lever-filler to its easy gripping wide barrel. Best of all is its 14k gold Lifetime nib. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. You will see only the slightest of wear on this gleaming Sheaffer Balance Lifetime. There is only a whisper of brassing at the top and bottom of the cap band. Kissed by only the lightest of wear, you won’t find any cracks or ugly scars. It has a nice, deep, crisp imprint on the barrel. You will write a smooth, dry extra-fine line. The nib might need a little breaking in to help keep up the flow of ink. 14cm capped.
