Vintage Pens: Sheaffer PFM II

In many ways, we think this Sheaffer PFM II represents the pinnacle of Sheaffer production. We have always loved the snorkel filling system, and these also featured their innovative inlaid nib. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac, O-ring and point seal. It cleaned up pretty well, too. You can see a little wear from past use, but there are no cracks or dents. You will write an extra-fine line with its “palladium-silver” nib. We don’t know if Sheaffer still made accountant nibs in this era, but it is that extra fine. As so many XF nibs do, our Sheaffer PFM II is a bit scratchy. 13.7cm capped.
