Holiday Shipping Recommendations

Holiday Shipping

Holiday ShippingWell, my friends. We are less than a week from the start of Hanukkah and only 15 days out from Christmas. As such, time is running out to get those holiday purchases in the mail. The United States Postal Service seems to be slower than ever and recommends the following dates to guarantee shipping for Christmas, in particular. It is actually surprising to us that USPS is pushing the final mailing dates this far out. But, it never hurts to play it safe.

USPS Ground Advantage (formerly first-class mail & U.S. addresses only) must ship by December 17.
USPS Priority Mail (U.S. addresses only) must ship by December 18.
USPS Priority Mail Express (U.S. addresses only) must ship by December 20.

Unfortunately, the USPS has not given any recommendations for international shipping. This is likely due to local customs enforcement issues. If you live outside of North America, and it needs to arrive by Christmas, at this point you might want to ship by FedEx. However, last we looked, FedEx was bilking small businesses such as ours for about $200 to ship a single pen. If you have your own FedEx account with much greater discounts, we can use your FedEx account number to ship it to you. However, you will need to arrange this via e-mail with us at info@thepenmarket.com.

With that, everyone here at ThePenMarket.com wishes you the happiest of holidays filled with family, friends, peace, love and great food and drink. We love each and every one of you, and thank you so much for being a part of our lives.
