Description from Nathaniel

Looking like a freshly licked lollipop in the summer sun, the candy red of this Eagle Balance Red Marble is striking. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. It has problems with the plating and brassing, but the celluloid is looking pretty sharp. No cracks and only light wear from use. We don’t know why Sheaffer didn’t make some Balances in this color pattern. Very handsome. If you are slow and careful, you can get a little bit of flex out of its otherwise dry, extra-fine 14k gold nib. Like most extra-fine nibs, our Eagle Balance Red Marble does have some feedback. 13.2cm capped.
