Term · Nibs and how they write

Feedback

This is a many nuanced definition for nib aficionados. The most pure definition of feedback is the ability of the nib to relay the feeling of the paper and table/desk upon which you are writing as you write. A pen can be quite smooth and still have feedback. Yet, feedback is also synonymous with scratchiness as a pen writes. To confuse matters, sometimes feedback can be a little scratchy or fairly smooth. Yet, we always state in a description when the feedback is a smooth experience. Otherwise, assume we mean it might have a little scratch, but we often attempt to describe the degree to which it is scratchy.
